Ashbourne Crown Green Bowls Club benefits from two 38 metre square greens, both with fully automated irrigation systems, in order to ensure that the greens are always up to BCGBA standards.
Endersliegh County League bowls final played on Ashbourne’s Top Green in 2008, between Derbyshire and Greater Manchester.
Greens have the benefit of ample spectator shelters / covered areas and seating.
The elevated position of the Club enables magnificent views of Ashbourne, Dovedale and the Peak District.
The pavilion was built from a grant from the British Lottery – Sport England – Fund in 1998. It has everything for a club of this nature, and the pavilion can be hired for private functions such as birthdays, anniversaries, christenings and weddings.
